Kerrie Canning
Co-Founder and Director
Kerrie is an experienced human resources and organisational development professional. She has worked both within organisations and as an external consultant on:
- cultural change
- leadership development
- recruitment
- selection
- coaching
Her experience includes professional services, local government, publishing, printing, and financial services.
Prior to working in consulting, Kerrie was the Director, People & Culture for Blackwell Publishing, Asia.
Of note
- Kerrie is one of only a few Extended DISC Master Trainers in Australia
- Kerrie led a cultural change project within Blackwell Publishing, resulting in receiving a cultural transformation Award.
When not at work…
Outside of work, Kerrie enjoys a round of golf, cheering on her horses at a racetrack, or enjoying the beautiful surrounds and wines of the Mornington Peninsula with her husband Rob.
Sally Garner
Director
Sally has more than 20 years of experience in human resources with a strong focus on recruitment and leadership. Her expertise spans across industries including:
- healthcare
- government
- finance
- education
- SME’s
Sally’s success lies in her ability to align people, processes and systems that drive strong business results. She has built highly successful and talented teams and has a key focus on supporting and developing them to reach their optimum.
Of note
- Sally began her career as a registered nurse has and worked in senior HR roles in healthcare.
- Sally led the HR team at Alfred Health during the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, transforming systems and process.
When not at work…
You’ll find Sally skiing any mountain in the world where there is snow on the ground or enjoying her home and surrounds on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula with her husband Mark.

Teresa Mckinnon
HR Consultant
Teresa has over 20 years of Human Resources experience, providing strategic senior HR and generalist HR support to local Government, manufacturing/FMCG, agriculture and health and community service, specifically:
- Quality, Compliance and Industrial Relations
- Workers Compensation
- Performance Management
As well as supporting a large variety of organisations with planning, talent attraction, retention and learning and development.
Of note
Teresa has a deep passion and understanding of the complex world of Employment Relations. She has received recognition for Employer of Choice programs and development and implementation of strong workplace gender equality, diversity, equity and inclusion strategies and frameworks.
When not at work…
Teresa lives with her large family on a rural property in Regional NSW. She enjoys spending time with her children on the sporting field, tending to the family livestock, pets, and the vegetable garden.
Candice Brudenell
Administrator
Candice is an experienced administrator, having worked across several sectors including not-for-profit, insurance and legal, specifically across the areas:
- Executive administrative support
- Finance and bookkeeping
- Conference and event management
- Consulting advice and interventions to support
- Front office management
- Human Resource administration
Of note
As an Administrator for HR Advice Online Consultants, Candice loves working with the team to deliver business owners a positive outcome across all the functions of Human Resources.
Candice has completed several qualifications including a double diploma of Human Resources and Business Administration. She places a strong emphasis on attention to detail and ensuring documentation is presented to a high standard.
When not at work…
Outside of work, Candice loves spending time with family and friends. She enjoys spending time with her young family and creating amazing cakes for family and friends.
